Air Hockey Speed is a mobile game that simulates the game that's seen in arcades across the world, where a table full of holes creates a cushion of air, on which a plastic puck floats.
The graphics and animation in Air Hockey Speed replicate the real thing very well. The puck really zips around the surface, making the action manic. Because the paddles are quite small, you're better off playing Air Hockey Speed with a stylus if you have one, as it will give you better control and help you see better.
Air Hockey Speed is fun to play in single-player mode, but it's even more enjoyable when you opt to take on a friend, which you can do via Bluetooth. There's no full online mode available in the game yet, so you're restricted to playing those within your immediate vicinity.
The audio in Air Hockey Speed is a bit disappointing, especially if you're expected the loud thump of disco beats that normally accompanies air hockey matches.
